Epiroc is a global productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, delivering cutting-edge solutions in drilling, excavation, and construction. Originally part of Atlas Copco, Epiroc became an independent company in 2018 with a singular focus on the resource and infrastructure sectors. With operations in over 150 countries and a strong presence in India, Epiroc supports critical industries through innovative equipment, reliable service, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Approach
When Epiroc was established as an independent entity, its legacy in India was still deeply associated with Atlas Copco. To mark its own chapter after separating from Atlas Copco, while honoring that legacy, Epiroc needed a document that would record and reflect its longstanding contributions to India’s development story.
Having created the Building India coffee table book for Atlas Copco, we were now tasked with crafting a distinct edition for Epiroc. While the core objective remained to highlight the brand’s role in powering the nation’s progress, the editorial and creative direction was reimagined to reflect Epiroc’s bold, contemporary, and mining-focused identity. The result was a powerful and independently positioned edition of Building India that truly belonged to Epiroc.
Solution Areas
We conceptualized and delivered a distinct edition of Building India for Epiroc, a project that paralleled our work with Atlas Copco in purpose but diverged significantly in tone, structure, and design. This edition was crafted to reflect Epiroc’s singular focus on mining and infrastructure, showcasing its leadership in sectors like coal, iron ore, limestone, underground metals, and tunnelling.
Our scope included editorial development, content research, visual storytelling, and high-end production. Every element, from layout to photography, was aligned with Epiroc’s bold, contemporary identity, resulting in a book that not only informed but reinforced the brand’s role in powering India’s progress through precision, performance, and innovation.
Outcome
The Epiroc edition of Building India served as a powerful storytelling tool for the brand, distinctly its own, yet thematically echoing the legacy it once shared with Atlas Copco. It offered internal teams, partners, and stakeholders a clear, compelling view of Epiroc’s role in building India’s future through cutting-edge mining and infrastructure solutions.
