Interics Designs was commissioned to create a spatial experience for the world’s leading logistics company’s Pune office. The objective was to design an engaging, inclusive, and culturally resonant workspace that connects with both internal and external stakeholders through thoughtful spatial planning, graphics, installations, and interactive elements.
Approach
We conceptualised the theme for the office space based on our narrative of ‘Global Diversity & Local Resilience.’ The office space was designed to establish the mission of local connect and inclusion, expressing the company’s inner core through meaningful spatial storytelling.
We divided the space into colour-coded zones based on their target audiences and functions. Using the company’s global reach and strong local presence, we curated and assigned content for each zone to ensure relevance and contextual engagement.
The logistics company’s deep understanding of geography, technology, culture, and people needed to be reflected in every thematic panel. This alignment created a seamless journey for visitors and employees, revealing a progressive brand persona and a vibrant, inclusive workplace that inspires and motivates its members.
Customer First, People Led, Innovation Driven lies at the heart of the company, and we instilled this motto through varied thematic graphics and installations that effectively communicated the message to all stakeholders throughout the space.
Solution Areas
The incorporation of local craft and artisanal skills added visual richness while emphasising the importance of preserving and promoting local culture. The workplace concept was brought to life with larger-than-life 3D interactive installations that encouraged participation and strengthened community-building.
Each installation and touchpoint was thoughtfully customised using diverse materials and techniques. The aim was to reflect the brand’s mission of being customer-centric and innovation-driven, while respecting and celebrating local culture.
Outcome
The brand’s investment in building a vibrant and inclusive workplace led to a significant rise in employee presence, with a 60% increase in physical attendance post-COVID. The integration of local crafts and interactive installations instilled pride among employees and strengthened their sense of belonging.
The office has become a hub for interaction and collaboration, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and fostering a culture of inclusion. This environment reflects the brand’s commitment to understanding and adapting to local dynamics, inspiring employees to champion customer service, people, and innovation. The success of this space resulted in the ‘Global Diversity, Local Resilience’ concept being adopted across additional offices throughout India.
