Japfa India is committed to improving nutrition and strengthening the protein ecosystem through its integrated Feed, Farm & Food operations. With a focus on quality, safety, and sustainable practices, the brand aims to enhance everyday living for millions across the country. Interics Designs was entrusted with creating a unified Spatial Brand Look & Feel for Japfa’s India offices one that conveys a strong, credible, and memorable brand image while emphasizing its India-specific business focus and positioning.
Approach
Interics looked at the Japfa Office Environment as an opportunity to inspire positive brand associations and drive desirable user behaviour, as well as choices through a memorable Spatial Experience. We conceptualised the Theme for space branding with a focus on enhancing the India-specific Brand Position and strengthening Japfa’s belief system of being the ‘collective force that Makes Good’ to improve living for millions through their ‘Feed, Farm & Food’ businesses.
We identified communication opportunities at the Japfa head office space with variations in vibrancy based on the floor-wise functions across four floors of the office building. A future-proof ‘Language’ was created to enable the Japfa Brand communication to become extendable beyond space and was delivered through a Spatial system covering Space Graphics, Installations, and Signage.
Solution Areas
Combining business and culture aspects to craft the spatial expression of the theme – ‘We Make Good. Always. Together’. The business visual elements were inspired by Japfa’s Business journey of bringing access to nutrition with Quality for Everyone. The cultural visual elements were inspired by Japfa’s proactive value system, enabling the discovery of connections for Collective Action.
Extending Brand assets from the new Visual Equity developed for Japfa India and harmonising the desired brand character with the existing Space and interiors. Interics provided experience creation inputs to add a sense of warmth, connectedness and engagement to Japfa’s Spatial Brand persona.
Our team developed a journey of the audience through exclusively branded spaces and detailing each touch-point within. These are based on story-driven content with several look & feel attributes to evoke specific user emotions. The zones were divided from Approach (Entrance, Lobby, Reception), Communication (Meeting, Conference and Discussion), Work (Departments) and Transition (Passages, Stairways) to Relaxation (Cafeteria, Recreation) areas, with each zone representing a particular component of Japfa’s business and brand narrative. Systematic vendor management, focused material sourcing and evaluation, product sampling followed by stringent quality checks; all optimize the outcomes ensure impeccable on-site execution.
Outcome
The spatial design delivered a unified, engaging, and culturally relevant environment that reflects Japfa India’s commitment to quality, community, and nutrition. The new office space fosters a sense of belonging, promotes collaboration across departments, and communicates the brand values to every employee and visitor respectively. The design has helped deepen the connection between Japfa’s global standards and its India-specific identity, reinforcing trust and brand credibility nationwide.
